# I Have Almost Nothing Left...

With ~4000 Steem Power approximately 8 months ago, I'm down to a measly 900. - I have 360 more Steem Power to pay before I'm able to save and generate SP for myself again. I was fortunate enough to get a loan from Neoxian in desperate times, and to **loan money** was my only option. I refused to beg the Steemit Community for financial aid. - I was desperate and I truly needed the money, but I had enough courage to ask **one** Steemian for a **loan** instead of begging the rest of the community for **donations**.

I don't want Steemit to become a charity platform and I've been "preaching" about that in the past. - That's why I stood my ground and didn't give up. - I could afford to pay back this loan due to all my hard work.

I have given away information and shared thoughts, ideas and stories for a decade. For free. Facebook, Twitter and literally hundreds of internet marketing forums have been filled with content in my name, or in aliases of mine. And I didn't earn a single cent from any of those articles or replies. - Steemit made my life easier that way. **To some extent.**

Steemit gives me the opportunity. - **What** and **How** I will take advantage of it is up to me to figure out.

I have spent **hundreds** of hours on Steemit. I've built a following of more than 1300 people. I have written more than 2600 posts and I have a reputation of 65.8. - **That's what I've achieved.**

I am fortunate and blessed for the opportunity and even though I  struggle, and have been struggle for a long period of time.. I'm still here, trying. Working and busting my balls for several hours per day, in an attempt to reach my goal.

I was **never** interested in becoming a blogger. I never saw myself as a blogger. I just gave away content 24/7 for free. Before I stumbled upon Steemit. When I arrived here, Steemit helped me to understand that my content is worth something. No matter what content I chose to share.

- Anyone can be successful on Steemit. I am a living example of that.

And some might say that I'm not successful and I totally understand your point of view... - However, what you need to realize is, that for each **cent** I make on my contributions, I make **more** than I would ever make anywhere else for that same thing.

With that being said, even though the money is amazing it's definitely not the reason I'm here. - I am here for the community even though I first joined due to all the rewards. **I joined for the money but stayed for the community**. - I consider Steemit to be my "*second family*". That's also why I help others in need. I push myself, I struggle and I continue to pave the way for my "*brothers and sisters*". - That's why I focused on minnows. That's why I help people in the different chats. - **I am a support pillar because I am a good family member.**

## The road is long and bumpy... 
I will manage to go all the way. I will reach my destination. - My destination, my "inner gps", is set on one thing. - **To become an established Steemian.**

That is why I want to build #teamsweden. That is why I focus on minnows. That is why I continue. - I want to set a good example. I want to be a living example of the fact that **anyone** can become an established Steemian and hopefully, I won't run out of gas before I've managed to do that.

I have 360 more Steem Power to pay back before I can start to build myself to 100% again... - And I'm longing for the upcoming days like a child on Christmas Eve.
