I wrote that 5-6 months ago... Before I launched the @asapers and before I started to delegate Steem Power. However, it's more than 4 months ago since I started to delegate my Steem Power to others... ***And I have no plans to stop.***

### I walk the walk and I talk the talk.
Whenever I answer questions I tell people what I've been doing myself. What I have done or what I am currently doing. I want my **actions** to serve as answers... That is the biggest difference between a **good** leader and a **bad** leader in my opinion.

> *"Do this or do that..."*

Words are **easy**. Actions are on another level and they often speak for themselves. That is why my answers are based on my own experience and my own knowledge. I tell people what I have done and certain things that work or not for me. I might tell people what they **could** do, or try, but I would **never** tell people what they **should** do...

Because people don't want to be managed, they want to be lead by good leaders.

I could easily have mentioned more than a handful Steemians, who I believe are truly **good** leaders, but it would've been equally easy to mention **bad** ones, so I refrain from doing that.

Also, one important thing to remember is that you should **never** mention peoples **past** mistakes when they are trying to change. That's like throwing rocks at them while they climb a mountain.

However, Mahatma Gandhi said:

> *"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."*

And even though I would love to see some major changes in the world, I understand that I am only human... There's a limit to what one person can do, and I am well aware of my own limitations.

On Steemit on the other hand, I am still only human, but even the smallest **seaweed** have the possibility to **be** part of things.. As long as they dedicate themselves and work hard. Like Ned and Dan's child, Steemit, is their creation, I have my own baby to care for.

I delegate 100% of my Steem Power in an attempt to improve the overall experience on Steemit. We obviously focus on newcomers and to help, teach and support new people as much as possible. Both on Steemit but also on [Discord](https://discord.gg/KKzNw2X).

However, we welcome **everyone**. Seaweed or whale.

I know that my delegations aren't **much** and I know they won't be life changing for anyone by itself, but, that's not the most important part. The most important part of this entire project is the **mindset**. The will to help others. No matter color, shape or form.

I am **positive** that the users I delegate my Steem Power to, will, in the future, at some point, help others in the same or similar way that I have helped them. And that is the foundation of everything. We look after each other and ourselves by doing that.

Until they are ready and able to help others in similar ways like I have helped them, they are **active** and **helpful** in many different ways. The @asapers curate, share the rewards and **help** others. 7 days a week.

None of us are getting paid, in terms of any form of salary for the things we do. We do it because we **believe** that we **can** and **will** accomplish things. We do it out of free will and due to generosity and our mindset. We do it because we **care**.

I could easily have used my Steem Power on myself and for myself. I could've used my Steem Power to maximize my own earnings as much as possible and to increase my own growth, but I use my Steem Power in the exact way I want to use it. Instead of selfishly increase my own earnings, I ignore those *"rich-quick"* thoughts and replace those thoughts with **long term** thoughts and goals.

I care. I teach. I help. I wouldn't say that I believe in Karma, but if Karma exists, I know I'll be plentiful rewarded for my deeds with time. Some people next to me might be whales and orcas by that time. They might have gone from minnow to dolphin... It doesn't really matter because I do what I do, without comparing myself with others.

I compare my **own** results I had **yesterday** with the results I get today. If I am fortunate enough to earn enough Steem Power to make a new or add an additional delegation to someone, that's what I will do. If I am lucky enough to gain 2 more followers today, and 1 more tomorrow, I'll be grateful for the generosity... 

And these are the things I compare. My results, with my own. That's how I will be able to decide if, what and when I should or could change certain things. It gives me insight and allows me to see how my approach works and if I need to tweak specific things or not. That is why I do weekly reports for instance.

It's not in an attempt to *brag* which some people actually have thought. It's more for myself than for anyone else. But it also allows me to be transparent and honest with my readers at the same time.

I let my numbers speak for themselves, but I keep track of my numbers at all times, so I am aware of why they might change. That's the ideal approach for me, and it's what's work best for me.
