## We are a strong, caring community.
That's the main reason I'll never quit. *Do you remember that stone age thing called Facebook?* - Sure you do and most of you probably use it regularly too. - There's no shame in that and I won't debate or argue with you.. - Personally, I deactivated my Facebook account a long time ago.

The main reason I decided to quit Facebook, was because I couldn't stand it anymore..

You know, **all** your friends on Facebook has everything in life. - You've certainly seen all these amazing vacation photos they share and all the photos of the food they're eating and stuff like that? - ***I call it pure bullshit.***

I've said it a million times during the years I've had my facebook account, facebook has become an open-diary. There's nothing wrong with that, in general.. But the fact is, that most people don't share anything besides all their *"happiest moments"* in life.

- You know what?
I am not one of those "happy" people.

I struggle in life. I work 60 hours per week to make sure I'll be able to put food on the table. - I work hard and I struggle. I'm trying to earn enough money so I'll be able to help my mother with her bills too. - ***I do whatever I can, whenever I can.***

I suffer from panic anxiety and depression. I'm taking medicines. - I don't want to sleep because I'm afraid I'll never wake up again.. - I'm afraid on a daily basis. - Despite all that, I'm trying. And I put in all the effort I can, to make sure I'll have roof over my head the next month.

### That being said..
I don't struggle **all the time** and even though I call myself rather "shitty" at times, I can still find multiple things to be glad for. I'm glad for others. I can still enjoy movies and bad jokes. I can still live a "normal" life so to speak.

So, that's the main reason I literally hate Facebook. - Because people don't share their "ugly" moments or things from their "darkest hours" in life. - ***And that's what people are doing on Steemit!***

## Okay, don't get me wrong..
I don't want people to feel shit about themselves or their lives.. I don't wish anyone bad things. - But it's easier for me, to identify myself with "lesser good" things, than vacations photos for instance. - I mean, a vacation? - ***I haven't had one in 10 years***.

That's why, I love Steemit and all of you. - You don't **only** share "the best things that ever happened to you in life".. You share "ugly" shit as well.. - And I appreciate that. - I am thankful for it.


- There you have it. That's the ***main*** reason I won't quit.


## Just for the sake of it..

How often have you've been rewarded for your posts on Facebook? - Have you ever got paid for a new post or a comment?

On Steemit, I'm able to give myself **and you**, $0,01 for my contributions (*which depends on my current SP*). - And that doesn't sound like much, but imagine 10 posts per day for instance.. - That equals to $0,10 per day **x** 30. = $3 per month. 

So I can basically give myself $3 per month, for doing the exact same things I've done on Facebook before.. With **one** huge difference. - I can get upvoted by others too, which will increase my earnings rapidly! - ***WHERE'S OUR REWARDS MARK SUCKS-ERBERG?!***
