Look, I would probably not have been able to visit STEEMFEST³ no matter what Steem or SBD was valued, but we've seen nothing but red numbers these last few days...

I know several Steemians whose initial idea was to pay for everything with their earnings from Steemit. They've either stepped up their game and produce more content than ever before, or they power down. Some people are obviously doing a mix of the two as well.

They continue to produce content and power down some of their Steem Power to afford everything. I know at least a handful of Steemians who're really looking forward to STEEMFEST³ and I know that many of them would love to go there.

I am one of them, because I would love to meet some of the awesome Steemians in real life... But it's difficult due to my studies. However, I **could** obviously just make sure to free up some time, but if I did, the financial aspect becomes another obstacle. - ***Especially when Steem is less than $1.***

Even though STEEMFEST³ seems to be pretty affordable, it's still expensive to travel. Especially for people who don't have any decent amount of money already saved up. I guess the price of Steem and/or SBD would've been the deciding factor for many users, except for dolphins and/or whales who're literally making bank on Steemit.

- What about the remaining ~95% of the users?

Is STEEMFEST something *"top notch"* that should only be able for the rich or wealthy? I love the idea of STEEMFEST and I know that you really can't make plans depending on the price of cryptocurrencies... But here we are, with values of less than $1... How many of you will **not** be able to attend STEEMFEST³ due to the price of STEEM?

I see that as a great time to invest, because I think there is a bright future for blockchain based apps like a Social Media Platforms. I love the idea of Social Media but I hate it how Facebook is handling their user data.

Low prices makes everything harder for everyone, it is reasonable some people wouldn't be able to go because of this, but who knows @hitmeasap there are still chances of you going. 

In my case I don't think I can go because for me it would be really expensive, and I also need to renew my passport which is a very slow process in my country.
