## Just recently, I got an idea...
But before I share that with you, we'll take a trip down the "*buy to earn*"-lane.

- Buy to earn?! - What's that all about?

Well, I won't go into any major details regarding these things. Good, bad, evil, unethical or wrong... - That's entirely up to each and one of you to decide. - In my book, I love the initiative behind the voting bots and I personally believe them to be a good thing. Even if I might see some flaws with them, I highly recommend them, and especially for minnows.

That being said, I bet you've heard about @randowhale and @booster by now? - We also have other bots but I won't mention them by name as this has nothing to do with that. - I just want to highlight voting bots in general.

They are here to stay and I've been using both of these bots frequently to increase my earnings. - These things doesn't do miracles but I've been able to profit **most** of the times I've been using these bots on my posts.

You simply pay STEEM/SBD for a vote from these powerful bots and that will obviously give you a boost on your posts in return for the fee you pay. - ***It's simple and effective.***

### How About $ For RESTEEM Then?

Let's start by sharing this:

I have more than 1100 followers on Steemit. These are followers I've been able to get during my 13 months on Steemit. However, the amount of followers I have on my account is just a fraction of what other, more established Steemians have. Some have 2,500, 5,000 and even 10,000 followers.

We all know the **true power** of Resteems. - I still remember when @ausbitbank resteemed some of my posts. It clearly boosted my presence and I got multiple followers & increased earnings from his kindness. He has 4,500+ followers.

So, how about Resteem for $?

I haven't thought about this in-depth enough to share something of real value except the actual idea. - Perhaps someone could develop this into a cool side-business, or as an addition to their voting bots. - I dunno. 

Perhaps I'll even start this thing myself further on... - The future will tell.

Imagine the insane boost a minnow would get by a resteem from someone with a few hundred followers... - Imagine a Resteem from someone with 5000 followers.. Or even 10000...

That being said though, the **amount** of followers aren't the **most** important thing...

What matters the most is this:

The number of views and votes. - And the comments. - And also the number of followers **you get** by using a "Resteem service".

If someone with 5,000 followers offered you a Resteem for $2 and you get 1 vote and zero followers... You'll lose. - However, if you paid $0,10 for a Resteem and got 15 votes and 5 followers.. - It might actually be worth it.

If the user who offers a Resteem service would provide a Resteem for a **low** fee and still give **good** results in return. Everyone would win. The author would get a nice boost in terms of followers and rewards and the person who offered this service would first of all, earn money due to the fee but not only that, it would ultimately lead to even **more** followers for this person too. Also, this would benefit the **entire** community as it would boost the presence and bring **more** quality articles to light. - If the service worked properly that is.

## There you have it.
A side-business. Easy, effective and most likely highly used too. Which ultimately could be lucrative **and** good for Steemit.

What do you think about it? - Would you use such a service? - Is there already services like this which I might have missed out on? - Do you think it would work?

I can totally see possibilities with this idea, and I can clearly see how a service like this would be used frequently too, just like the voting bots. - The question is, who'll be first to present it? - And who will have the **best** service to offer?
