3D printing is going to have massive use cases in the future. Arthur C. Clark's book "Profiles of the Future: An Inquiry into the Limits of the Possible" actually went into a lot of details about 3D printing and we are yet to achieve most of the things that was described more than half a century ago. 

Having these tools open sourced can help more people explore these technologies at a lower barrier for entry that could result in a lot more development in the field.

3d imaging are famous now these day. This is profession that have massive use cases in the future art and also a fun. This is great to find as open source and no need to pay and there is no doubt 3d priting technology is transforming how we imagine the object. Great hunt.

3d Printing is getting more attention now a days because the kind of output it generates is great and way better than traditional one. Impressive Hunt. 

its i think used in face recognitions and therapies ?

I love the 3d printing technology because it makes us to print the whole product with out doing much  work  with our hand,  you just need to make design and give some  instruction  to the printer and all done.

This has to be one of the most invigorating ideas out there......really appreciate the open source concept as it opens the door to so many possibilities for inventors to take their ideas and run with them.  3D has yet to reach it's potential....we will be surprised at what it makes possible.
