STEEM, the blockchain I loved from the very first moment I learnt about it; Well, for a blogger since 2004 + a crypto lover, it wasn't difficult to have a crush on a content blockchain!
and steemit, was the first platform I started with, on STEEM blockchain.
now after more than years on steemit, I still love the platform... let me share some reasons:
# Cryptocurrency wise
if you believe in fundamentals, steemit would add the most important weapon to STEEM: usability and mass adoption.
steemit has a consumer base who are active users of STEEM tokens and blockchain. this is exactly what many other blockchains and cryptos are missing.
# Social Media wise
steemit looked like a social media from the very beginning: a blogging platform. but it's more like a social media with the Community option they have added recently.
Bringing up more social facilities will make the network more meshed and interconnected.
for example I would love to see a miniblog based on STEEM (or even part of steemit) and obviously it should be a DApp. I remember there were some miniblogs (like twitter) on Ethereum blockchain... Peepeth? but the gas consumption of the blockchain wouldn't let it grow I believe.
# news and media
less than two weeks ago, I heard steemit and TRON are becoming partners. after the media release of the partnership, Steem token surged almost 26% over a 24-hour period as of press time. TRX has also edged up notably, trading 10% higher at the time of publication.
looking to above numbers made me wonder! I like TRON and its founder's profile and history. but if you would ask me before the press release, I'd say TRON would benefit more than STEEM.
Anyway, with TRON, STEEM will be more centralized. no problem with that, I hope this results in higher adoption of the token and the blockchain.
