Will crypto currency survive ww3?

We all will be affected if ww3 happens. We all know that but my concern is that what will be the impact of ww3 over crypto currencies during the war. 

We have already faced deep recession during ww1 and ww2. But during these wars our world was not inter linked as well as it is now.

The only working currencies during ww3 will be ammo and iodine . When people come out of bunkers and restart civilization , then is a chance that one of them is a bit coined. Haaaaa.

Anyways bitcoin could be the currency for exchanging value between nations that hate each other rite now.

Now we have got the second scenario as well

Crypto currency will become worthless as well as traditional currency.
The block chain will simply freeze because you need more energy then a coal plant generates to find new blocks with in a reasonable duration of time. It would be hard for anybody to source so much energy just to keep block chain alive.

I have done some research over it but to my surprise , nothing much is there in this context.

I think block chain would be the least of our concerns if WWIII broke out. Good point on ammo and iodine though. I am guessing EMP though ;)
