   *We* continue our 100Days series today, as we count down to the end of this year, we want us to keep in mind and as well put all what we have been reading into consideration, these messages will be fruitless if we don't practice and apply all what we learn in our lives. Over the past few days, we have been discussing on *_Hope_* and the obstacles that dashes it. Today is going to be the final thoughts on it. 

The topic is very wide and important to human, but due to the script for this series we can only pick the cogent ones. We have discussed Anxiety, Fear, Failure and now the one last obstacles to hope that will end this section is... 

 *HISTORY*

*History* is an aggregate of past events, a record or narrative description of past events and also a discipline( _Course of Study_)that records and interprets past events involving human beings. It is also defined as the continuum of events occurring in succession leading from the past to the present and even into the future
 
 History could be an obstacle if the right attitude is not set to it. I define history as _*The events of the past, filtered through the minds of the present.*_. Most times, we take the negativity of history which makes it get the better of us and also in the end dashes our hope. 

There is a saying that you *can't change history* , but I believe everyone reading this piece can rewrite one. It's always sad to be reminded of one's bad past, it's a perfect attack on the mind and can bring it all crashing down leaving it with no hope of survival. 

To make your hope and dreams come true, you have to forget about your past and work on the present, keep your head up high to have a brighter future. That you were weak yesterday doesn't mean that's the end. Revisit good memories, these memories inspires you to work more for the future. Your past shouldn't decide  your future, your present should. 

Forgive yourself of your past, create in you a new spirit, a revive mind and an uplifting heart, that you may be able to face the challenge before you. Have the will and hope that it will end well. Afterall, it's not how far but how well. Never let the bad images, scenes of the past bewilder your hope, fine turn your presence. 

Be a Record Breaker, break records and write new ones, don't join the crowd that shouts _it's impossible_ but have the mind that wants to try. See challenges as new possibilities to become better than ever. Aim high, keep the hope alive. 

As I end this chapter of this series on hope, I have a watch word to give everyone.. 

 _*Don't quit, if you do, you lose to failure, don't say it's impossible it can only be DIFFICULT, keep the fire burning, keep your hope alive.*_
