# Saturday # Yes I make up my own words. And I do like to consider myself a cunning linguist. But I guess I’m lazy at times so I’ll be including several photos to help me better explain my abouts of yesterday. ___  <sub>_I did it for the thumbnail. Ignore this pussy for now._</sub> ___ I started the day off at the park with a fifteen minute walk and a casual two mile run. I wanted to kick the ball around too but there was a youth league game being played, with a referee and two linesmen to boot. So nice field was not available. And besides it being hot and my knee being a bit sore, the distraction of the game probably added to my slower than “normal” lap time.  <sub>_proof of run_</sub> ___ A bunch of my friends (including myself) are Geminis and thus we had planned to have a collective boys night out dinner at a local steakhouse. We had dinner reservations at eight o’clock. So after the light workout at the park I just lounged around Steemiting and watching some Netflix / TV, including a pre World Cup friendly match where France and the USA finished in a one all draw. ___  <sub>_the skies the limit - heading to the house of steak_</sub> ___ We started off with some martinis cuz my one friend is fancy like that. And of course we all grew up as big double-o-seven fans. And also of course there was bacon. Slab bacon. I only managed to get a shot of the menu. Once the food arrived that became the focus so my phone went in my pants pocket. Also because we needed all the tabletop real estate we could get.  <sub>_proof of bacon slab I dunno what/who Nueske is_</sub>  <sub>_we also got crab cakes_</sub> ___ The aforementioned appetizers were pretty delicious. I can’t begin to describe my love for bacon, the slab didn’t disappoint. We all ordered the porterhouse (_medium rare_) which was to be split between two people per steak. (I could have easily handled one by myself but sharing is caring.) They each came with three sides so we ended up having a good amount of food. But the bacon jam (yes more bacon) was the only one I’ll mention. We got a Mendoza Valley Malbec, to go with the red meat.  <sub>_proof of porterhouse - please excuse the blurriness_</sub>  <sub>_porterhouse and bacon jam!!!_</sub> ___  <sub>_I always wanted to be a blonde_</sub> ___  <sub>_large as fak cappuccino_</sub> ___ So we all but finished, had our coffees and ordered deserts to go and while not far from our next destination I decided to use the gentlemen’s room. As it said on the door. Now I know it was a single bathroom which means that anyone can technically use it but I couldn’t help but document the following sign inside the men’s WC. ___  <sub>_2018 Gebtlemen’s Room..._</sub> ___ So back on track with our desserts in hand we headed to our one friend’s house for some whiskey and cigars (and the deserts). Long story short it was a good night with great friends. ___  <sub>_my friend’s pussy - his wife won’t let him get a dog, yet_</sub> ___  <sub>_I don’t like smoking and I’m not really a fan of cigars but every now and then it hits the spot_</sub> ___ Wait there’s more...? So we ate the desserts, finished off a bottle or two of whiskey, had cigars, had some electrolyte drinks, shot-the-shit, did some spartan-race training exercises and now it was time to leave. But on the way home there was one last stop. That was unnecessary to be honest. And it involed some double, no triple Ds actually... ___  <sub>_Dunkin Donuts Drivethru: chocolate-glazed and nasty hash browns_</sub> ___ Peace out.
