A teacher is like a boat captain who steers and directs his ship, navigating it with purpose. In an educational context, a teacher’s students can be viewed as being his boat. There is a lot more to it. For instance, in our region, classrooms usually hold around 20 students each. This creates a noisy and restless atmosphere if not handled correctly. So, before a teacher can even steer his “ship”, he needs to prepare his boat and make sure that everything is functioning smoothly. The ability to manage a classroom becomes the teacher's priority in bringing the class into an encouraging and orderly learning climate. With this in mind, educators should incorporate learning models and practice roles of leadership that best suit their students, so as to prepare the correct learning environment and guide them to learn in a fitting and ultimate manner. There are various models and styles of leadership that teachers need to know. When a teacher is a role model, they need to be trustworthy, respected and able to make the best decisions for the benefit of improving the quality of learning. ### 2. Inspirational motivation: It is important for teachers to have the ability can motivate all students and colleagues to have a positive commitment to the vision of the organization (school) and to help create a team spirit in achieving educational goals. ### 3. Intellectual Stimulation: Teachers need to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skill so as to make learning more fun and creative for the students, to keep them interested and focused. ### 4. Individual consideration: Teachers need to act as trainers and counselors, and provide constructive feedback to students and colleagues, keeping in mind that everyone is unique.
