Atrás quedaron los años de la juventud pasada
de la juventud no aprovechada, desperdiciada,
los años de la juventud primaveral,
los años de la juventud veraniega.

¡Oh juventud! ¡Hermosa y dura juventud!
Nunca me preparaste para afrontar tus retos,
no tomaste en cuenta mi falta de experiencia
y mucho menos mis miedos y mis sueños.

Hoy te vas de mí, te alejas irremediablemente,
dejándome un mundo de recuerdos,
muchos placenteros, otros tantos austeros.

¡Adiós juventud! ¡Nunca más volverás!
Pero cada paso que seguiré dando en mi deambular
estará anclado en tus experiencias sentidas.
