Esperanza contra los tropiezos (Poesía)

A pesar de haber caminado
tantas rutas y veredas,
siento un dolor profundo
en los rincones de la vida,
como si hubiesen quedado abiertas
heridas que laceraron
las fibras de mil corazones,
sombría tormenta nocturna,
y amantes que juntos lloraron.

Pudimos hacer promesas,
vacías, sin fe, o simplemente
tardías, lejanas,
y eso no pudo impedir,
que  triunfaran las mentiras,
y así los tropiezos 
hicieron mandato
como tiranos tan crueles,
alargando las distancias
y dañando el carisma
de dos corazones 
enamorados y llenos de anhelos.

Guijarros filosos
que lastimaron nuestros pasos,
haciendo alarde,
burlando las artes
de evasión,
locura infernal
que poseyó nuestras ansias
mientras el destino
en las alas de la angustia
reía a carcajadas.

Y sin embargo
habrá tiempo,
para sanar el pecho,
curar la ansiedad,
mirar otros horizontes
sin que duela el alma,
porque hay un consuelo
en las imágenes de ayer,
no actuamos con maldad,
y por eso nos premiará
la verdad que llevamos
en nuestra emoción 
de seres inocentes,
simpatía por la belleza,
respeto por la luz
y sed de cariño
verdadero.
