At last the storm has passed and sunshine has returned to Cost Rica! We now have blue sky and 27 centigrade with 90% humidity. It has been a wild few days. So much rain has fallen our rivers are roaring and swollen. Tropical storm Nate formed in the Caribbean east and north of Costa Rica and never made landfall there but the wind patterns drew warm moist air from the Pacific across the country causing intense rains on the west coast and in the mountains.
