We sometimes avoid deep emotion conversation by using God as a guard. It is easier to say God got you than have a heart to heart conversation with the said person. Imagine 10 people telling one person God gat you without a single soul from this 10 addressing the problem, eventually the person believes God gat him/her and then do nothing but expect an awesome miracle from God. When things do not then go as planned, this person turns his/her anger to God which will make everything worse. As Christians, it is our job of course to believe and have hope in God but it is not our sole job to hang everything on his neck. When people seek for advice from you, our job is to listen and act with God's guidance on what they share. Acting in this case does not mean you have to help solve their problem but, it means you listen and help them feel better than they were before they approached you. Leave everything to God and do not is really sometimes not the right word, take a step further by calming their fears and making them feel relieved. Do not make yourself a Public Relation Manager for the kingdom of Heaven. Help by sharing, embracing and loving your fellow men. It is not your responsibility to play God in anyone's life but it is your responsibility to be available and show up for the people who come to you or matters. God has given us an intellectual resources to resolve problems within our control, do not blame him or use him as an excuse for our ineptitude.
