So I want to share this with ya'll. So ya'll know Im suffering from Psoriasis, dont worry its not contagious, if you need more info on what it is, here's the link https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/psoriasis/symptoms-causes/syc-20355840 So, my psoriasis ha ha affected my body and also my scalp, but one place that they didnt affect was my nails, only recently, I think earlier this year, it started to show up on my nails, like wtf, after so long and you suddenly show up? 😅 So anyway, basically there's nothing much I can do with it, since the only way to get it to go away is to eat Methotrexate (a strong drug that will kill the cells) which i chose not to, my nails are slowly becoming discoloured and the most prominent one is my thumb nail, which one small part of it has sort of sunk in. But, there is an alternative that I am trying which is sort of working (but at a slow rate), and I want to share it with ya'll out there who's going through the same thing and hoping it helps too. Firstly, when you moisturise your hand, don't forget to moisturise your nails too. Yes you heard me right, make sure the moisturiser got onto your nails too(vaseline : the petroleum jelly version) has a good effect on it and secondly, sun bathe your nails too. The process is slow but it helps. If you have any advise on how to maintain/keep your psoriasis at bay, feel free to drop a comment.
