3d modelling steps of another helmet. (yes, more, more !)
We need a bit of variety for not too much repetition in the crowd / battlefield, we will get very diverse soldiers fighting each others.

Here i was a bit inspired by "for honor" for this helmet, here is how it turned out :

Drawing the profile and depth / front lines / principal shape of the helmet allways with this edge extension method wich is one of the fastest i know.

Making edge loops that flows nicely across the rest of the max and following the natural topology between each polygons to close out the mask.

Steps of progressively doing that, level by level / shift + mouse and multiple selection is allways your friend.

Gotta find a way to connect some edges at the corners of the mask, hmm, i'm not sure i did the best job there, having sometimes 5 side polys at certain places, i don't think it's an issue anyway, it looks really smooth in the end.

This part closed up, we can add some details left and right.

Having a border cornering all the side of the mask ( using beveling / extrude )

Making holes and giving depth to the eye sockets.

Didn't encounter much of a problem until i reached this part here :

I should have simplified the model early on, now i will have to weld some vertex and edges together to simplify the topology.

Making a hole for the hinge that no one will see with the mask on the helmet anyway ^^
