Photo Challenge 9 / Single Bike trip in Seoul - Korean Human Mummy #21 Photo
#

Hello, Steemians! 😊

In a row, I had made 3 positing on Steemit.
But for me, honestly, I wanted to be lazy last weekends
unfortunately, I stopped myself posting more on here.
Felt a bit guilty because it doesn't look very continuing any more.
Guess I have to put myself to do more posting regularly
like a kid who chases all the rewards on each point he reaches.🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

### *
My short morning bike trip around the hotel
*

There is a citywide bike rental system, Ttareungyi or Seoul Bike
but sounds much closer to real pronounciation in Korean
like Dda-reung-ee(따ëĶ‰ėī),
which can help you bike around main tourists spots in Seoul.
Luckily right across my hotel, there was a bike station for Ttareungyi.
So the other morning, I and Mr. Fantastic Foodie tried to bike around
but it was Sunday and so many people are on the way we were going.
Quite failed. ðŸ˜ĄðŸ˜–ðŸ˜ĩðŸ˜ĄðŸ˜–ðŸ˜ĩ
Honestly, Seoul roads are not really wide enough to let go bikes
and around some palaces area, there were some constructions
even though its name has literally meaning like city WIDE.
It was not a good condition to bike around more away.
By the way, my early morning brain wanted to do something else.
Decided to try again riding a bike around more.
I knew it was a challenge for me to survive in the crowd.

Somehow reminding myself and my body,
once I used to go to the gym early in the morning,
that riding was pretty good and
made me feel better physically and mentally quite refreshed.
Just simply put the earphones on
pushed my pedals as much as I could.

Then got to one of the popular tourists spots
around Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok village.
Pretty quiet and peaceful.
Even couldn't imagine it is very crowded every day after this moment.
Too many hills for my bike, I simply gave up
then picked a different route,
getting to Korean Blue House, Cheong-Wa-Dae(ėēė™€ëŒ€).

On the way to up the hill, I found an interesting statues.
It was on the rooftop of a random art centre.
Looks very lovely but somehow I felt sad.
I don't know why.
Guess I have to come here again to see and check
what the building has about it.

While pretty crazily pedaling, a policeman was staring at me.
Quite scared. Then he slowly walked to me.
So I was pretty freaked out. Even thought If I have done something wrong.
Then with a nice smile and gentle voice,
he asked me to ride my bike on bike road lol
Silly me! ðŸšē🙀ðŸ˜ē😏

The other side of the road to get to the Korean Blue House,
This is the first end I saw, which has at least 5 bodyguards and
an official gate man standing in the booth.
Even I could see people who work in the office at the Blue House going to work.
Yes, it was Monday and
definitely they had to support Korean governmental works.
Guess it is a part of real busy Seoul lives. ðŸĪŠðŸĪŊðŸĪŠðŸĪŊðŸĪŠðŸĪŊðŸĪŠðŸĪŊðŸĪŠðŸĪŊ

After more riding, got to the other side of the gate booth.
PHEW~ QUITE TIRED! ðŸĪĪðŸĪĒ😑ðŸ˜ĩ

Had more fun to ride a bike in the less busy morning,
later could have a nice nap on the bus to home.
It was a nice trip and
really recommend about Seoul Bike
if you want to take easy and slow trip to enjoy my great Seoul! 😉
