https://youtu.be/Ocg3InAEZMU I have to take the day off today because after class yesterday i had searing pain in my hip joint. I have a friend who is a yoga teacher who told me that even "fit" people who don't have an injury, find Bikram to be very hard. Of course! So, I am taking the day off, and tomorrow I will do this 60 minute class, but more mindfully. I have to really slow it way down and only do what I am comfortable doing... There's got to be a line between "fuck you I don't want to do it" and "I'm in pain" and I have to prayerfully find it. I do feel though, that since I got the book randomly at a yard sale, that this is the yoga I am meant to do now.
