steem.io website only shows 920,800 accounts and we need to see why that is not updated? Why the lag? And why only 40 Million in payouts when Ned correctly stated at Cons3ensus few days ago that steem has paid out Hundreds of MILLIONS in rewards! I was thinking well maybe hes just talking about SBD that has been soild on bittrex? Haha nah man steem.io must be updated they gotta get dat updated data mang I don like seein dat lag in dem stats breh.  Anyway Thanks so much to @ned for finally posting more

but hey you should give a disclaimer and explain WHY you Can't just start voting for peoiple because ethen people would start saying theres favoritism etc etc and itd take away money from others rewards as rthe rewrad pool is toitally static and you can't just start using you are big stake itd take away too much from others rewards yeah?

And we need to explain to more people that Ned cannot be using his vote, he does plenty with his delegation, and when the time is right he will use his own voite, but if he used it or used the @steemit accounts $8000+ Upvotes it would ZAP value away from other peoples upvotes and just think about that, your upvotes would just be worth less. No way around it, the reward pool is the same just gets allocated differently.  Many whales don't even vote at all, they also don't vote for witrness! Steem would look WAY different if just the top uisers started acting a lil differently! The current regime is so delicate lol

Can I ask If Q3 2018 aka September is a good target for expecting HF20? Will Appbase and communities be out by summer?

Or are they out when they're out?  Oh man I just wish Steemit inc had more employees but I bet inertia would just say "hey you can't always solve a problem by throwing money or people at it" and yeah Steem is a database with cryptographic keys and witnesses and its amazing but you can't have too many chefs in the kitchen! 

I cannot wait for the new updates and in the me time I want to work on videos and animations and posts that explain how steem and DPOS works!

I would not be so positive...1 million accounts of what?...How many are really active?...how many share quality content?...how many people make projects for the growth of the platform?...  if we only look at that million, what we want is to deceive ourselves.
I love steemit...it's almost the only social network I use...Let's not fool ourselves...the purpose of the platform is dying.
They will continue creating thousands of accounts...but active are very few...And why is this? for the bad distribution of wealth in steemit...few have much and many have little...we made steemit a perfect copy of the distribution of real world wealth...and many of the powerful instead of making an ethical use of the platform, they are dedicated to the purchase sale of votes.

If we continue this way, many accounts will continue to be created, but fewer and fewer will be active.

if it continues to cost so much to grow in steemit people leave it...or is dedicated to publish hundreds of post junk to get 0.01 in each of them destroying the blockchain.
If we do not worry about making a better distribution of wealth the future of steemit is very doubtful

and how do we make a better distribution?
with important delegations to the different communities...and within those communities to who care about the growth of the platform, sharing quality content, making projects for the growth not only personal but of your community...if we do this it will be easier to grow...and not only will accounts be created, but people will stay in steemit because they see the future in belonging...people will stay because they trust the platform...and if you trust the platform you will trust your currency...and if there is confidence in the currency the price goes up...

If those who have more, if those who have millions, they do not start giving important delegations they will continue to have millions, but millions of nothing.
