Some nice story from my friend Joe.

I stayed two more days until my 30th birthday. I felt insecure about a new stage of life and I was afraid that my best years are behind me. My daily routine was a gym and work. Every morning I met my friend Nicholas at the Gym. He was 79 years old and in a wonderful form. This time, when I greeted Nicolas, he noticed that something not right and asked if everything was fine. I replied that I was worried that I would soon be 30 years old. I wondered how I would look at my life when I reached the age of Nicholas, so I asked him: "What was the best time in your life?" Without hesitation Nicholas replied: "Well, Joe, this is my philosophical answer to your philosophical question:"
"When I was a little child in Austria and the parents took care of me and I had nothing to worry about - this was the best time in my life.
When I went to school and learned things that I know now - this was the best time in my life.
When I got my first job and I had responsibilities, and I got the money for my efforts - this was the best time in my life.
When I met my wife and we fell in love - it was the best time in my life.
The Second World War came and we had to go with our wife to save our lives. When we arrived safely on a ship board and traveled to North America, this was the best time in my life.
When we moved to Canada and started our lives - it was the best time in my life.
When I was a young father and looked at how my children grew up, this was the best time in my life.
And now, Joe, I'm 79 years old. I have health, I feel well and love my wife as much as when we met for the first time. This is the best time in my life."
