so here I am... a #steemfest attendee trying to find posts about steemfest.  Some of them will make it into my posts.... maybe they posted an awesome picture that was relevant to my article, maybe their post was just sooooo epic that I had to show the awesome video that @timsaid made with my post... 

while I'm doing this... I find that maaaaaaany #cat pictures are being presented in the steemfest tag.  Not real posts, just a picture, and a dedication to steemfest.  Ordinarily I don't get too worked up about this... however.. it got to the point where it was becoming very difficult to find posts that have anything to do with steemfeset.  And I'm getting notified, every single time someone posts something which has nothing related to steemfest.

Can you find the steemfest post in there?  I'll give you a hint, it's not a cat picture.

so.. after getting very aggrivated and reporting 4 of the worst offenders to @steemcleaners.   I started flagging them...  most are getting autovoted by individuals who I will not name.

I even got some lovely response posts such as:

I'm waiting for some big correction from the community, but since I'm the only one who looks at every single post in the steemfest tag, I won't hold my breath.  I even asked for advice in the steemfest chat room on steemit.chat, but got no response.

This one seems to think that good photoshopping skills means that all posts with only cat pictures are relevant to steemfest.....

I'm sick and fucking tired of all of these fucking cat pictures in the steemfest tag... there were no cats at steemfest.  not even one, except me and @wolfcat, but we are both people cats... humans, actually, and cats additionally
