## What Is Gold?

Gold is a metallic natural resource which is found within the earth crust. In chemistry  it is seen as a substance which has an abbreviation of **Au**. 

Gold comes in two forms; the raw gold and the purified gold. The raw gold is the liquid form of gold that is mined from the earth crust. It is very unattractive. While the purified gold is the solid form of gold that has passed through a high degree of temperature in the fire and it come out in a shiny solid form as beaten to the desired shape by the goldsmith. 

## What Is The Gold In You? 

Every one in this life was born with deposits of potentials which I can term as **raw gold**. This potential will remain dormant in you until you carry out a work of **discovering** those hidden gold in you.

Likewise in the case of the potential we are born with. If we don't leave **our comfort zone** and try out the things that seem impossible then we may never discover the ability in us. 

*I made the school sandals I wore from my Junior Secondary School 2(JSS2) up to my Senior Secondary School 3(SSS3).*

 That was a space of 5 years and the funny part was that I didn't learn it from any coupler. I just pick old shoes and sandals, tear them apart and observe how it was sown and all that. That was a potential in me but I ignored it after my secondary school days because I thought being a science student will take me far in life. 

The same issue we see today, a lot of us are born with inbuilt talent that needs **discovery and improvement** but we ignore those ability and pursue getting a certificate in school and in a field that is so different from our potential.

My friend, there is raw gold in you that is waiting for you to discover it and to purify it with the fire of **knowledge and experience**. Yes you need to wake up from laziness and discover the greatness in you. Yea, people not value the ability in you because it is still raw gold but it has passed through the purifying process, it will come out shiny and desirable! 

Don't limit yourself by the environment you found yourself but rather be focused on the gold on the inside of you! Don't limit yourself by your poor background but rather let the gold in you stir to become what you were destined to be!
