I agree with you. I also lost almost 1000 steem by playing magicdice.

I empathize with you @intellihandling. I had similar experience but I made some money too. At the moment I earn only from dividends and not really playing.

I also know few who have really made money in this game. And there are those that have lost money but are still fine because they made Magic tokens. Some day when those tokens are tradeable with Steem, maybe then it would help you.

I have tried to stay optimistic that they aren't cheating, but to much of this happens. The only thing that seems to work is mixing it up big time, but that shouldn't be needed.

Have started playing here instead and mainly blackjack as I really prefer that over dice:

PIFC gets a small cut this way...but not important. But the house edge is SMALLER then with MagicDice and maybe more important their coin is new, on Steem-Engine (tradable now), and dividends are coming in the next couple weeks so you would be building up coins early.

So far I haven't seen any of the issues I've noticed on MD. Their random factor is based on a way that can not be tampered with on their end so I like that.

In gambling the house always wins... I would imagine that here on the block chain it's a lot less regulated than it would be let's say in Las Vegas. There is no guarantee that the code is not rigged, all we can do is trust that the developers are honest people... But when there's money in the line who knows right?

It could be a good idea to form a Steam gambling regulatory committee that oversees code for gambling games, but then that sort of defeats the purpose right? this platform is all about freedom, and freedom to gamble, and if you were less than lawful, freedom to cheat. Freedom is a double-edged sword... You have freedom but then so does people who are nefarious. 

Back to the magic dice, Again... The house will always win.

Me am too , the bet sometime will there is a delay .
I am also win less and lose more!
At present, my gambling rate seems to be around -1.5%.
The official winning percentage is 49% and the odds are 51%.
So the average gambling rate should be -1%
My gambling odds rate am more than 50% higher than the average gambling rate.

But I see those others replys above.
Some people have odds of -8%, which is quite bad.

Is magicdice fair or no fair ?
I can't judge this.
Because
I have won many times in a row.
Also have lose many times in a row.

Sorry for your loss. In my personal experience, I try to stay as far as possible from such games, especially if I need to invest money. 
Is there anyone who actually made profit from magic dice?

One thing that I understood from playing on Bitsler a lot with DOGECOINS is that the House Edge always catches up to you.

Even though the house edge on Magic Dice is pretty Low compared to other Online Gambling sites they stack up.

In my own perspective since I have not tried any online betting games, the odds of winning such is very low compared to the real deal. Digital gambling such as this follows an algorithm where they prevent you from winning unless you can rig it to favor you. That is why I have low interest in this kind of thing. I have better confidence if I play cards with real people rather than this. But again, it is my own perspective. I respect the enthusiasm of others in engaging into this.

Magic dice is an exploitation system. I agree with you. After a while you always lose. Steem-bounty's vote club system is very useful I think.

I'm afraid to get addicted so I haven't played yet. I'm still learning Steem Monsters so that's we're all my extra money goes. 🤣🤣🤣

I do love to gamble but do know the house always makes the profit. I haven’t played Magic dice but was thinking about it. Thanks for sharing your experience @intellihandling. With a card game you have more control but Magic Dice is left in the hands of the computer. ♦️ 🎲 ♥️ 🎲

Good day @intellihandling! Let me tell you about my experience with magicdice. I knew about this game from one of my mates. And I fortunately started to play at the beggining, when game was just launched. And for me it's turned out with profit.  But I need to say that after good profit I loose nearly 1/3 of that funds which I won. Of course I tried different tactics but house won.

One more moment that I want to mention that I agree with other people that it seems to me that now there is some kind of control in game. I don't have prove it's just my feelings.

I've actually noticed the same pattern amongst @magicdice an a few other dice games as well.
Once I realized this, I switched up my betting style just like you & caching! 

There's definitely some sort of pattern recognition going on. Ten rolls an hour of mixed betting has kept me in up in the 90% range for just about all my dice games. 

Remember that split second (subconscious) choice you made just before you decided consciously what bet you were gonna make? 
When you find energetic harmony and are tuned in to the resonating frequencies your path is made easy and fortuitous. This is my axiom.

I've been playing Magic Dice for some time and my experience is that continuous losses and wins happen all the time. Sometimes I win 10+ bets in a row and then I loose 10 bets in a row. 

One thing you can do is changing the Seed that is used to calculate the dice roll. It's randomly generated when you sign up for the game and it can be changed at any time. The seed is a part of the algorithm. Changing the seed is always going to throw off the algorithm and everything is published to the blockchain. Hope you are at lest making a good deal of passive income from the tokens earned :)
