The largest and most famous <strong> Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁) </strong>, which was built during the last king of the Joseon Dynasty in 1395, is located in the center of old Seoul. The palace is surrounded by modern "glass" skyscrapers. And in the south it is protected by the majestic Pekagsan mountains. Therefore, there is a very beautiful view: a combination of antiquity with modernity.



No less beautiful is the <strong> Chandokkung Palace (창덕궁) </strong>, which is located in the old half of Seoul. I believe that the main highlight of this palace is its <strong> Huwon garden (후원) </strong>. By the way, it was in this garden that the famous Korean drama “The Secret Garden” was shot, which is sometimes called the “Mysterious Garden”.

Buddhist temples in which monks still live and religious services are held. By the way, many foreigners are happy to sign up for the so-called "Temple Step" in order to experience the life of Buddhists with both soul and body. Temple Stamps are usually not very long, just for a couple of days. In Seoul itself there are 2 very beautiful temples. One is in old Seoul, and the other is in the new.

In Ponyns (봉은사), which is located in the new Seoul, and also like Gyeongbokgung palace surrounded by modern skyscrapers, there is a huge Buddha article with a height of over 20 meters. The temple was founded in 794, so it is already several centuries old.

Have you ever heard or seen <strong> Korean performances, performances, musicals </strong>? They are distinguished by their dynamism and brightness. Some performances are a combination of traditional Korean dances and songs with modern ones. This is another opportunity to learn more about Korean culture.

One of the most famous performances, or rather the show, is <strong> Nantes </strong>. This is a culinary show in which the actors cook the famous Korean "Kimsi" (salty cabbage) and "Bibimpab" (rice with different salads, seasoned with a special spicy sauce). The presentation passes without words, so knowing the Korean language is not necessary, just relax and watch.
