On Thursday, February 22, Robin hood, a new mobile platform for trading bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, started its work in five US States. At this point, the app is available to residents of California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana and new Hampshire.

In addition to cryptocurrencies, Robinhood offers trading with traditional financial assets.
However, at the initial stage, only two basic cryptocurrencies – bitcoin and Ethereum-are available to investors. The rate of other altcoins — Bitcoin, Cash, Litecoin, Ripple, Ethereum Classic, zcash for, Monero, Dash Stellar, Qtum, Bitcoin Gold, OmiseGo, NEO, Lisk and Dogecoin is currently only available in preview mode.
According to the company, its mission is "the financial system works for all". Therefore, Robinhood will not charge Commission for trading, although the price will include the fee associated with the application exchanges.
The company also assured that in the future the opportunities Robinhood will be able to take advantage of not only the rest of the States, but also other countries of the world.
It should be noted that Robinhood already enjoys quite a good reputation: The company has been working in the market for five years and in the past attracted $176 million of investments, including from Andreessen Horowitz, Index and NEA. Currently, the company's market capitalization is $ 1.3 billion.
