When you have a new house. You actually want to renovate it. There are lots of things to do. One thing is look over if there are some termites that may be eating the woods. You need to change some stuff which doesn't look good already. Open the cabinets to see if there are anything left there. There are stuck drawers that needs to be fixed.

I prefer to have it without anything left by the former owner. I may throw the things left there because I have no idea what's behind with such stuff. 

Renovation and refurbishing takes a lot of time. At times, building a new one would be better. But of course, if the building is already there, you don't have to prepare that much compared to the kinds of planning in building a new home. 

What's more important is the kind of person who will live in the house. Because some may have lots of money, but they tend to act inhumane towards other people.
