Cada palabra que descubro en ti, me enaltece,
y descubro esa capacidad de leerte que me enorgullece,
no hay mayor placer que tenerte entre mis manos,
me siento ávido de conocer todo lo de este mundo pagano.

Tienes esa virtud de llevarme al paraíso,
de hacerme revivir la historia, sin sentirme indeciso,
contigo vivo el romance de dos enamorados
y hasta la más triste despedida de un pobre desamparado.

Por más que trato de reemplazarte con lo nuevo de hoy día,
es difícil para mi porque jamás te dejaría,
un libro significa mantener vigente la tradición
que nos atañe a la infancia y esa es mi percepción.
