Constructive Thinking? Is It Possible? Steem Stalemate Situation.
On Justin Suns post, where he laid out his conditions for supporting witnesses, in which he openly stated that he shall use the 'ninja mined stake' I replied with the following:

>#5. That you incorporate the plan to start working on a secondary decentralized system of storage for all the photos, videos and audio files used on front ends that utilize Steem.
RE: So that no individual company such as Steemit Inc. or any other entity in future can hold people at ransom for their data.

That ALL known of issues in our governance model (code) such as a lack of communications and other issues such as infinite witness and proxy votes be given a 365 calendar day validity (mandate). i.e. a person has to vote once every 365 days or their votes are cancelled once the 365 day period is up.

Then the the other day in a conversation with a fellow Steemian, i presented a potential solution to the 'stalemate' which could serve Tron much better than any "token swap" or "devouring up the community onto the Tron blockchain"

Again, trying to be constructive in this rather negative and destructive atmosphere we are currently in.

All in all, there is no doubt that we shall see new ventures started, that our Steem blockchain will live on via forks, so there is no reason to sweat it out.

However, as some 80% of people who replied to a question about what they shall do after the fork, both chains shall be utilized.

Which means there is good reason to save Steem, even if it have a new master looming over it.

Nothing has changed in essence and based on some of the things seen with the undelegating of Steemcleaners (as one example) it leads to the suspicion that Ned still has his grubby little paws in all this. Maybe not, but something tells me that he is still in some way involved, even if it be as a "source of BS information". 

So, taking all this into consideration, I would like to once again point out here, that 'demands' and 'ultimatums' are not going to save Steem. They will literally destroy Steem.

Even though we will live on via the fork, it is still heartbreaking to see what we all so much loved and lived for, be destroyed.
I guess that is only human.

Can we look for solutions that work for the good of all involved and that won't result in outright destruction?

The Steem blockchain will live on, as I clearly stated in the post. A fork guarantees that what we created will not be lost, but continued.

So from the tech side of things, we are covered (so to say).

What the point of the post is, that people have made it very clear, that no matter who holds that ninja mined stake, nobody wants to see the original Steem blockchain vanish or devoured in any way.

Which means only one thing:

It needs to be adapted for the needs of the new situation at hand.

I dare say, that if it is 'the community' which Tron wants, then it is the people who make up that community they need to listen to.

No DPoS or forced takeover via any funds shall ever get the people agreeing to anything, in fact, as history has taught us, such actions result in uprisings and revolt.

So, the fact remains: Shall we serve the people or not?

That is all that matters at the end of the day.
