In the days when it was up to me and my family to face the symptoms of “Covid” it seemed that everything was prolonged and there was no hope in the midst of so many economic needs that we were also facing.
#
Things were getting complicated and it seemed that the worst would come. However, in the midst of those troubled waters and anguish that we lived in for a time, the hand of God manifested itself as our only hope of getting out of the tragedy of illness that we were facing.
#
This reminds me of the word we quoted at the beginning of this post, Why are you disturbing my soul?
#
There are very turbulent waters that shake our faith and drag us through doubt and fear. However, the same psalmist says, "Wait on God because I have yet to praise him." This is precisely what a child of God must do in the midst of the hurricanes of life, we must "wait on God." Putting trust in God helps us to confront with firmness and assurance that God is with us and will deliver us from all danger.
#
In those days of anguish by the "Covid", praising God was our only hope of victory. The whole time of the symptoms of the disease was of continuous praise to God and waiting for God to manifest himself in the way He did to rid the whole family of that disease.
#
There are times when anguish wants to take over our soul, however, we must have confidence in the Lord and wait on Him so that we obtain victory.
