# Fields of Ghosts - Hoi An Vietnam

Ok, its a lie... there are no ghosts in the fields... or, perhaps their are... who am I to discredit such things.  There could very well be ghosts in the fields.  (*Note, I need to check with a local on ghosts)

For me, however, the ghosts are this plastic, or very light fabrics farmers put out to scare away the local bird. Think like its a Scare Crow, or at least this is what I assume them to be. In all regards, however, they look hauntingly amazing and mesmerizing all just ghosting in the wind.

- Yes, this little ghost has 2 Laure beer cans dangling from it, it must be one drunk ghost.  :D

- These are more kites then ghosts I would say... but still they looked sore spooky in the twilight after sunset and before dark. Ok, I will call them ghosts as well.

- Haunting. Simply Haunting. The wind sweeping over the rice fields, these ghosts dotting like zombies across the sea of green... epic and haunting.

- This is also a kite, a kite that fell onto hard times and had to take up life as a ghost just make ends meet. He works all day in the fields for just a little bit of twine to take home.

- Did you ever watch the field of dreams? That baseball movie about a guy who plows down his cornfield to build a baseball field? no? well, there is a scene of players walking out of the cornfield... this reminds me of that.
