The much awaited 2018 is here like another page in a big book. When you move to a new page when reading a book, do you forget it's content? It is good you do not. #### I'm not really a "new year, new me" kind of person. I'm more a "new day, new me" person. I don't think it is necessary to wait for a new year, before one can think about changes. Life is all about changes.

I have seen a number of new year goals that looks really funny. It's not all about having goals, it's trying to achieve the goals that matters (realistic goals). I could say, I want a private jet this year. When I'm not earning millions of dollars, that's not possible. That is a "goalless goal". A goal should be something within your reach, that is really possible to achieve. I have quite a number of goals this year.

To achieve a goal, support may be needed most times. Look out for those that truly want to support you. The higher the goal, the more difficult it looks to attain. But with the right support, you will definitely get there.

I plan to make mistakes this year. Sounds weird? :) When I make mistakes, then I know I am actually trying new things out. When trying to reach a goal, most times mistakes come along the line. When trying to reach many goals, then many mistakes are abound to happen.

I want to be positive too. Last year really started badly for me. I lost most of my savings to shady investments, I really felt bad. Some group of thoughts believe that starting a year badly means, the entire year will be a bad one. I didn't let that deter me from being positive. I'm happy to say the year didn't end badly as many thought it would. No matter how bad it is for you right now, it'll definitely get better.

I want a very peaceful year. Yesterday, I had an argument with a friend. He owed me money I gave him over 3 years ago. Recently, he started acting rudely to me. I tried reasoning with him that he shouldn't act that way to someone who helped him while he was in need. Guess what happened? He used many insulting words, he then proceeded to pay his debt. I was really surprised, this is someone I use to help any time I can. So, he had the money to pay but refused to. I just want a peaceful year, maybe sometime later I'll share the full story. Nothing should make you feel bad.
