This time let's return from artificial chess problems to a real tournament chess game again. The game I present you today, as so often had started with my beloved Trompowsky Attack. Playing with the white pieces I had sacrificed a pawn, but as compensation there are some "holes" in the black position, so that for example castling short would be very risky. The last black move had been inaccurate which gave me the chance to get a clear advantage and win the game. What did I play as white?

I'm struggling to find a good solution here. My suggestion would be to play Bf2, to force black to open up the d-file.

I'm excited to learn about the real solution. :)

Yes, this has been one of my favorites too. If he beats the bishop, the white knight is back in game in a very good position. But i think, one draft is not enough for @jaki01. He wants to see your way to the black king in whole.

Yes. We need a sequence to force black for defensive moves only… It's just easy to write about, harder to do it. White has to think about c4. I can avoid it's loss for some moves but I don't see any advantage for white by doing this…okay, my chess board is at the table again…
