Hello friends,

I just finished the carnival celebrations and I thought about taking some pictures of the street decorations, but in truth, I was not very convinced by not sharing their background. So I told myself, no. I will continue to search the sites of the high Mirandinos in a short walk, I will only have to mobilize in our small Japanese Van, which has just left the workshop for a minor repair, so in order to test its operation.

On this walk my son accompanied me, first we left my wife in a training in the city of Teques. Then we travel along a narrow and winding road until we reach the selected destination. We had not been there for almost eight years. I was always tempted to stop to take a look, but for some reason I never did, today I satisfied my curiosity.

Once parked at the edge of the road, we got off and walked towards a small circular square of red terracotta, in the style of roads. From there, I saw a large house, a kind of sanctuary for religious rites, or thought it was a kind of agricultural market, totally wrong, thankfully I never went to market. LOL

The statue (Bust) of a man with European features and thick mustaches made in concrete, caught my attention. The search for some inscription with information about the character was unsuccessful, I suppose someone has stolen it with the intention of melting it and selling the material.

Also, an oxidized agricultural machinery next to a beautiful tree towards a slight contrast, although if we detail it well, not so much, if we consider that there are foliage everywhere being in the vicinity of a forest park.

When walking on the edge of the road, we saw some people waited for public transport in the direction of the Teques or the town of Jarillo, founded by German immigrants, probably the statue is one of them, perhaps Gerbasius Gerik. From there we saw an arch that welcomes this region of tourist interest.
