Africa Cup Of Nations(AFCON) 2019: Quarter Finals Game 3 and Game 4 Results
The Africa Cup of Nations round Quarter Finals games continued  yesterday and we had results as we kinda expected!!

The first game of the day had Algeria beat Ivory coast on penalities and the second game had Madagascar have their AFCON ride come to and end .

#### Quarter Final Game 3 : Ivory Coast Vs Algeria

This was an exciting game as we saw Algeria maintain their winning streak after after beating Ivory Coast on penalities.

The game was generally [dominated](https://www.google.com/search?q=afcon&oq=afcon&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i60l2j69i59j69i60j35i39.5693j1j7&client=ms-android-sharp&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#sie=m;/g/11fkswl565;2;/m/01l5zn;dt;fp;1;;) by the Algerians in terms of ball possession , passing accuracy and even the number of touches.

The Algerians scored through Feghouli inthe 20th minute and the Ivorians equalized in the 62th minute.

The game went on to extra time she the Algerians won a freekick in the last minute of the game.

There was drama as the Algeria coach brought on a substitute whi seemed like a freekick specialist hahaha.

This new guy almost scored, but shot juts a few inches wide.

The game went on to penalities where the Ivory coast skipper missed the last of thr added extra penalities after all the sides had missed one each on the normal fine given.

#### Quarter Final Game 4 : Madagascar Vs Tunisia
The last game of the quarter finals had our tournament debutants  Madagascar lose to a dominant Tunisia!!

I did watch the first half and  game looked balanced!!

Whatever that was told to the Tunisia team during the break, only God knows!!!

The Tunisians came back in the second half strong and killed the game by scoring three goals.

I congratulate Madagascar for coming this far in their first ever tournament!!

Thanks for dropping a fast review of the quarter finals games.
The first game didn't give me anything less as both teams continue their rivalry and fight for Supremacy. Both goals were classic but Baghdad Bounedjah penalty hitting the woodwork was an heartbreaking moment as the Algerian had only tears to comfort him.
At least Ivory Coast has shown that the Algeria defense is breakable.
Madagascar vs Tunisia was another encounter that place us on suspense after a 0-0 first half but after some half-time advice by the coach the game had a total turnaround as experience came to play.
Congratulations to Tunisia and Algeria
And to the West Africa sides Senegal and Nigeria.
