As if there wasn't already a big enough pile of evidence disproving the wildly absurd western narrative about the Douma event last year, more evidence continues to stack up, completely tearing the western propaganda to shreds. So much evidence now, that the truth is slowly beginning to make its way into the mainstream, such as on the Tucker Carlson show on Fox News.

The above video which I put together a couple weeks ago discusses the recent evidence showing that the OPCW report concluding chlorine gas had likely been used (and therefore indirectly implicating Assad for the alleged attack) was whitewashed to conform to the official western narrative and was not supported by the available evidence or conclusions of the investigation team itself. 

You see, as turns out - just as Russia, Syria and the independent media has been saying all along from day 1 - [according to multiple OPCW whistle-blowers](https://steemit.com/news/@jasonliberty/opcw-whistleblower-reveals-more-evidence-of-douma-gas-attack-hoax-staged-by-white-helmets) and a leaked [internal OPCW email published by WikiLeaks](https://wikileaks.org/opcw-douma/document/Internal-OPCW-E-Mail/), that there was no evidence of any chemical weapons being used - no sarin was found, and no chlorine in higher amounts than already present in the surrounding environment was present at the scene of the event. 

The attack was staged by the White Helmets, those Jihadist propagandists funded to the tune of millions by the American government, and without any actual evidence this terrorist propaganda was used as a pretext to launch over 100 missiles at Damascus, by those who knowingly lied to the American public to justify this act of war.

But now even more evidence has come forth, as the saga still continues to unfold. 

On December 14, [WikiLeaks released several more documents](https://www.globalresearch.ca/new-wikileaks-opcw1) which even further expose the OPCW coverup and whitewashed report which suppressed the facts of the investigation indicating there had been no attack to begin with. 

>Amongst these is a memorandum written in protest by one of the scientists sent on a fact finding mission (FFM) to investigate the attack.

According to WikiLeaks,

>The memo states that around 20 inspectors have expressed concerns over the final FFM report, which they feel “did not reflect the views of the team members that deployed to Douma”. 

Shockingly, “Only one investigator who actually visited Douma, a paramedic, is said to have contributed to the final version of the report”!

Also included in this latest information dump is a copy of the original un-redacted report being released for the first time along with a detailed comparison with the final, official whitewashed report.

But that is not all, for a now former-Newsweek employee also recently resigned after being forbidden by upper management from reporting the facts about the alleged Douma attack and the OPCW coverup. This latest development reveals not only that there was a government and OPCW coverup, but illuminates the corporate media's hand in controlling the narrative by knowingly and intentionally suppressing any truth that threatens or contradicts that precious narrative. 

How do they suppress the truth? By forbidding it from being reported on in any way, and threatening those who dare publish the truth with being fired. 

For Tareq Haddad, the choice was simple: Having become fed up with not being allowed to report the truth about Syria, he resigned and published his finding and the story of corporate censorship on his own website!

In his own words,

>Until several days ago, I was a journalist at Newsweek. I decided to hand my resignation in because, in essence, I was given a simple choice. On one hand, I could continue to be employed by the company, stay in their chic London offices and earn a steady salary—only if I adhered to what could or could not be reported and suppressed vital facts. Alternatively, I could leave the company and tell the truth.

Tareq knows the cost of standing up against such a powerful cabal, and yet chose to do it anyway, and describes how despite this knowledge the choice was simple:

>In the end, that decision was rather simple, all be it I understand the cost to me will be undesirable. I will be unemployed, struggle to finance myself and will likely not find another position in the industry I care about so passionately. If I am a little lucky, I will be smeared as a conspiracy theorist, maybe an Assad apologist or even a Russian asset—the latest farcical slur of the day.

The piece itself is quite long, and I recommend you read it for yourself, as I will only briefly touch on the contents here. Below are a couple paragraphs explaining the OPCW coverup and how the final report was inconsistent with the actual evidence gathered by the investigators and their own conclusions after weeks of investigating the alleged attack:


>After OPCW experts found trace levels of chlorine when they visited Douma—i.e. no different than the levels of chlorine normally present in the atmosphere—or raised concerns that the canisters may have been tampered with or placed, both of which were reflected in their original reports, they made protestations because this information was withheld from the final report that was released to the world’s media. Instead, the final wording said chlorine was “likely” used and the war machine continued.

>This is not a “conspiracy theory” as Newsweek sadly said in a statement to Fox News—interestingly the only mainstream publication to cover my resignation. Real OPCW scientists have met with real journalists and explained the timeline of events. They provided internal documents that proved these allegations—documents that were then confirmed by Reuters. This is all I wanted to report.

>Meanwhile, OPCW scientists were prevented from investigating Turkey’s alleged use of white phosphorus. This flagrant politicization of a neutral body is opening the world up to repeating the same horrors we experienced in those two devastating wars.

>This is unacceptable and I resigned when I was forbidden from reporting on this.

So there you have it, the corporate media is indeed a cabal, with the editors being "run" by a government "mafia," certain facts and truths are forbidden from being published - in this case the truth that there isn't nor was there ever one single shred of evidence that a chemical attack took place in Douma in early April of 2018 -  and anyone who would dare to speak out on this or any truth which contradicts the established official narrative on important propaganda stories are promptly fired. 

Of course most in the independent media already knew this. After all, John Swinton, an editor for the NY Times in the 19th century, [made the following remarks in the 1880s](https://www.constitution.org/pub/swinton_press.htm) about the lack of any independent press in America and that editors of the major papers are but intellectual prostitutes:

>There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it.

>There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.

And we can see that this is more true today than ever. Another example of recent MSM suppression of the truth about Syria in regards to the Douma gas attack hoax comes from Italy. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was recently interviewed by a prominent reporter of the Italian TV station, RAI News 24, but despite the interview being scheduled to be aired on December 2, was instead cancelled and never aired on Italian TV at all! Just another recent example of the ongoing corporate media censorship and suppression campaign to keep the growing awareness of the truth about Syria from making its way any further into mainstream thought.

"We were right, and they were wrong," Assad concludes in regards to the staged provocation and total lack of any evidence whatsoever of any chemical attack even taking place, as well as the overwhelming evidence of a coordinated coverup and propaganda war engaged in by the US government, western media and the OPCW to suppress the truth. And right he is. 

The evidence is overwhelming, the verdict is in, and the case is closed: The alleged chemical attack in Douma, Syria on April 8, 2018 was a staged hoax; while the US and European governments, western media, and even the OPCW leadership all lied to cover up this truth and to justify an act of war that had no justification - airstrikes that were carried out based upon a completely false pretext, accompanied by a mainstream narrative to which there was never one single shred of evidence to support it.
