coches, dibujos preparatorios

Estos dias me estoy preparando para el gran fin de semana que viene. "Le circuits des remparts", la ciudad donde vivo se llenará de coches antiguos, la mayoría, según me han comentado, son ingleses. Quien sabe, tal vez me ligue a una rica inglesa aristócratica tan loca como yo pero con mas dinero. Podremos tener sexo impar! maravilloso!
Me vistiré como Tintin, ya me he comprado una gorra y me pondré a dibujar cuantos coches pueden abarcar mis fuerzas.

Así que, todas las mañanas bajo al parking cerca de mi casa y dibujo algún coche:

Me siento en un taburete en frente de uno de los dos faros delanteros, de forma que pueda tener un gran ángulo. Luego, tomo como referencia, normalmente, el espejo retrovisor y lo uso como referencia para los demás elementos del coche.

Aun no se si este Mercedes me quedó bien o mal, tengo _mixed feelings_, como dicen los ingleses, con este dibujo. El ojo, a veces, engaña.

Uno de los trucos del dibujo de observacion, es contrastar un elemento del motivo con algun otro de planos distintos. Hay que obligar al cerebro a verlo todo en el mismo plano, es decir, en el plano del dibujo. No es tan sencillo como parece.

Todos estos dibujos están hechos in situ, delante de cada coche, dibujando rapidamente, para poder captar las formas en su conjunto. A veces alguna línea se va, es inevitable.

La idea es este fin de semana es dibujar in situ, coches como este Corvette del 53:
