FACEBOOK VS STEEMIT - why I think you should stick with steemit!!

Facebook is a social media site where you can post and share whatever you want while steemit is also a social media site where you can post about anything and everything that interest you but with a difference.

**Now let's look at those distinctive differences that separates steemit from the crowd**

-You get rewards on steemit when you blog, and when other steemians upvote you. Facebook or any other social media won't pay you a dime
For that.

-Steemit is an eye opener. You get to learn about other crypto currencies. I never knew about other cryptos prior to joining steemit. Facebook are just full of marketers who want something from you and not the other way round.

-Accumulation of steem. What is steem? Steem is a cryptocurrency used to power the platform steemit.
As at today, steem is $1.3, [check here for current steem price](coinmarketcap.com), imagine in the next two, three years when steem would have appreciated, that would be huge and you would be smiling.

There are many benefits of being part of this platform. It might not be easy at first but you would definitely love it here.

Great post and you hit the nail right on the head. Most people might not realise that when starting indeed. Steemit is far more supperior to Facebook and the possibilties of getting wealthy with steemit is more likely where as wadting time on fb your wasting your life.

The first time i got to write my first post was the moment i knew i have found a new love. i was looking for a way to make money through cryptos and i stumbled upon steemit. I was aiming at earning 1$ a day. Now the love is deep and i have lots of friends plus the rewards are really great. I have already made up my mind not waste lots of time on Facebook. One of the biggest differences between FB and Steemit is censorship.  Other than crowd censorship, by people flagging content, there is none here. 

On FB you cannot post some things (nudity comes to mind) and then what is posted is reviewed by them and if they don't like it, they will either delete it or bury it so no-one ever sees it.

Also, not everything you post on FB is seen by your followers. It never shows up in their timeline. To me, that is another form of censorship.

Putting aside the potential for making money, Steemit is much more open and free than FB.
