Our life revolves around the economy, and our quality of life depends on our economic stability, so I feel inspired to review this topic so common and everyday.

The simplest meaning of the word economy is the **"Order in the expenditure of a house"**, it's what we see and the first thing we learn since we're kids, because that's how they were taught to our grandparents, _"The economy is having the money to spend on our needs"_, but later we realize that the concept is much broader and as human activity was diversifying also the economy was acquiring other forms of meanings and added new terms related to economic activity: **Process**,  **sectors**, among others.

With the definition of the economy it is also important to emphasize the economic activity, in which it is part of the world of the human activity. The economic aspects do not simply refer to the production of the dress, goods and services, the investment of money, but also are the processes by which we market and acquire those products that come with the laws that regulate it, in this Process men relate to each other. In other words, the economy is also part of the social reality.

Currently there are many sciences or disciplines that deal with a wide range of topics (history, Geography, mathematics, physics, medicine, sociology, among others...) Economics is also a science. Therefore it is in charge of studying the production and distribution of wealth, also gives meaning to the saving and the optimal use of the resources.

## The economic processes 

As I have mentioned the economic activity is carried out through a set of relations of the men among themselves, this set implies various operations that are called **economic process**. The production, consumption, laws or regulations governing the activities of production, marketing and procurement constitute these economic processes. I'll describe them very briefly:

- **Production:** satisfies a human need, this process comprises the production of material goods (derived from mining, fishing, agriculture, manufacturing and more) and the production of services (shops, transport, utilities, others). The most decisive factors involved in production are work and capital.

- **The work:** is the workforce, and this in turn enables us to live and educate ourselves better hence the importance of getting ready, training and studying to get a good job. Luck, Chance (playing lotus, horses, etc.) The partisan cronyism oppose the creative effort of the work. The wage earned by the work should meet the consumption needs. 

- **Consumption**: It is the final destination of the production of goods and services since they were produced to satisfy human needs. 

- **Investment**: Refers to the injection of time and/or money to a capital, with the aim or intent of a higher gain to the initial. 

- **The exchange**: Not all men, factories or nations produce the same things. The worker produces his work for a salary: The trader changes his merchandise for money. Currently the exchange or as it is colloquially told the **Barter** is very common in our economy

- **The offer** is the presentation of the goods and services in the market for the purchase of the consumer. For example, when we say that a product has not come on the market means that it has not been offered yet, so it is not for sale. In relation to employment, the offer is the application of labour (employee, worker) necessary to cover the jobs.

- **Demand**: is the application for goods and services of employment. Demand is determined by consumption. When a product is in high demand and this product is scarce, the price of this product increases.
