My beagle weighs more than me...almost

Ok well considering he is 75 pounds he is pretty overweight for a beagle. Yes i know i weigh about 100 lbs more than him but still lol. His name is Chacha and the reason why his name is Chacha (formerly known as Champ) is this. I rescued him from an animal shelter when he was 6 years old, they told me his previous owner died in a fire so they brought him to the shelter. When i went and seen the amount of dogs they had there it was this beagle that caught all my attention. All and i mean all the other dogs barked viciously while Champ just wagged his tail and stood up on two legs as his front two hung on to the fence as if to say "Hello sir, nice to meet you". I was sold, Champ is coming home to be our new pet. We got in the car and began our journey home (did i mention the shelter was 3 hours away?) The whole ride home he sat in the back with his head held up high and looking very excited to be going to a "new home". When we got home my mom decided once she saw him that we will have to change his name because my grandmother being only fluent in italian would have a tough time pronouncing "Champ", so Chacha it was.

He is really good with everyone when we go for a walk he wags his tail at everyone he sees, but if he sees another dog, well that's a different story, thank god for the harness! It ain't easy for a 170 lb weakling to hold back a beagle beast. We've cherised every moment with our new chubby family member and sorry for rambling on so much but i thought i'd share my story of how i met Chacha. Now wasn't there someone else i should be talking about here in this post? Na it's not about me, i don't need to #introduceyourself right away. I will leave it for another day. This one can be my #introduceChacha post :)
