Hi Steemians!

For my daily positivity crypto story, we find ourself at the meeting of the SEC and CFTC in regards to crypto regulation.

It was announced today by the Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, J. Christopher Giancarlo, that the CFTC is going to take a "Do No Harm" approach when it comes to cryptocurrency. What this means is that they are not going to try and attack cryptocurrency and crypto technology. Quite the contrary. They are stating that the plan is to embrace the technology, for businesses around the world are realizing, like the internet, that you cannot shy away from groundbreaking technology like this. They recognize that the blockchain can change the way transactions can be done.

Also positive from the meeting is that they are going to crack down on "Ponzi ICO's", ergo ICO's that's only objective is to swindle investors out of money. Essentially crypto ICO's like Bitconnect. As Giancarlo put it, he's asking for:

"product providers to disclose to the CFTC the steps they have taken to gather and accommodate appropriate input from concerned parties, including trading firms and FCMs."

All positive. After 3 weeks of hellish news and FUD, it's nice to read some positivity, especially in the country I reside.
