Hello - Newbie here from Ireland

Hello fellow steemiters (is that the word? lol) 

My name is Jillian and I am very excited to be here. I am a writer living in Ireland. I have had a very interesting decade which included divorce, recession, home repossession, business collapse. going viral, bailiffs calling, bankruptcy and then law changing (I took the Irish Government to the High Court as I was not allowed to run for public office as a bankrupt and during my years in the wilderness I became an accidental activist fighting the banks) and won!  I ran for the European Parliament on an anti austerity ticket and won 11,500 votes - not enough to get elected but enough to make a difference.

I am activist against the banks and the vulture funds which are making people homeless here in Ireland - 3000 CHILDREN in emergency accommodation currently. my kids were part of that statistic at one point.
