<center>When I heard people say that El Salvador has the best roads in Central America, I was quite surprised and so I have researched on internet and there it is.  El Salvador does have the best roads in Central America and now that we moved back few months ago to El Salvador, I can see why people say El Salvador has the best roads.

<center>Since we have been coming to El Salvador (since 2008) there has always been construction on highways, since the roads get really destroyed from the sun, heat, heavy rains (almost like a rivers over the roads) etc.
But for the last few years, there has been some amazing improvement of the highways here especially when the highway from and to San Salvador was beautifully built and it is probably one of the best highways I have ever seen.

<center>Right now the main highway which is the Pan American Highway in Santa Ana is being all constructed and what really surprised me was the way they are repairing this highway.  
This time they are really doing an amazing job by digging actually really deep (which I have never seen anywhere before) and applying layers and layers of sand, dirt, gravel and then, of course, the asphalt.  It is actually a cool process to watch while driving by since they put like 5 different layers and all these kinds of machines and many, many workers.

<center>Even though the progress is moving pretty fast it is still pain driving through this one lane each way traffic since it takes double to triple the time to get home in the evening after @joordanzzz soccer practice.  But once this highway is all done, (which half of it is and it looks awesome and so smooth to drive on) it will be all worth it, but it will still be a long process since the highway is pretty long.

<center>You know what they say "No PAIN, No GAIN"  the situation has to be ugly and uncomfortable before it becomes beautiful and successful, in every aspect of our life.
