<p>@Aggroed's and his team gave this platform another breath of hope, what seemed like a languishing project a couple of months ago has changed into a vibrant ecosystem were communities are starting to thrive. It seems like steem-engine team new better how to handle their talent and resources to unleash the dormant potential of the Steem Blockchain.
  </p>
<p>As a result the most active communities have created and ScotBot / Nitrous-based tribes using a fork of the Steemit condenser.

<p>This is the community backed by MSP-waves and the Minnow Support Project, since these guys has an interesting mechanism which rewards both on-chain and off-chain engagements I can bet it is the most engaged tribe so far. They went away and shifted the rewards distribution to 50%/50% before the next Steem Hard Fork and the community seemed to digest the change pretty well.

<p>The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math team (STEM) has also created a token for support users interested in science/technology-related content. They already had another front end to get data from the Steem Blockchain (<a href="https://www.steemstem.io/">steemstem.io</a>), but now they also has a fork of the steemit condenser... I dunno what they plan to do with the two different sites, maybe it would be best if they decide to  just focus into one of them, or to get an approach VIP/free users for each portal. It's up to them to decide what to do.
