Thank you for the useful information. This is the problem I had the last couple of weeks not knowing what to post and when I post I would spend hours writing good posts just to earn $0.01.. that really puts a person off to be honest

Spoken like someone who cares.  

Just write about whatever is around you, something you've done in the past, a trip, something you are doing in the present maybe your hobby, something your are interested in sports, your favorite play, poem or book.  

If you can't think of anything off the top of your head, just read other peoples' post and tell them what you think about whatever they posted (be kind).  If you stay engaged long enough, let your imagination go and don't worry what other people might think inspiration will find you.

### Using social media to Lead😇

Posting every day requires time, effort and thought. No one wants to post meaningless banter. Or at least I don't.  I will say that Steemit has become my very favorite social media outlet.  I manage 24 social media accounts.  I like that people care about writing with intellect and depth. I try to do the freewrites to get better at writing, and I enjoy writing on issues like socio-political commentaries, inspirational videos, ​and spiritual practices.  My inspiration comes from wanting to be an advocate for social change and create a virtual space for more love and compassion in this often brutal world. :)

I post daily but this gives me more motivation to continue to strive here......I enjoy posting and sharing on here and love what I have been following....

I didn't know we can just post photos if we have nothing else to write. I am a professional photographer. This helps a lot! Thanks!

I am also doing a course on a site called DailyOm that has inspirational emails (daily!) and the course I am taking is every day, too. I was thinking that would bring writing inspiration because the course has been quite transformative and it sends a tidbit to think about and write about every day. I usually write using a hand-written journal (which has been said to increase the impact of what is being written because of how writing by hand affects the brain vs typing at a computer) but I am open to switching to typing.
