Trim and Harvest (FLOWER ROOM UPDATE #37)
# Hi Steemians!!  So 14 days has passed since I chopped a Santa Rita Og, now its time to begin the curing process.

###  So off one plant I got 24 grams.  Nothing huge, but it works for me!!  Enough to keep me smoking and to make a few dollars to cover my supply cost.  So I am a happy camper!

###  The Santa Rita 2 Is such a great smoke.  Since it was picked with 60% amber trichomes, it provides a great smoke for night time.  So now I will set these buds in a mason jar, and burp for 15 min once a day, for at least a week maybe two.  Then ill really start digging in in a few week, but it's so good now, it's going to be hard not to sneak some before then!!

#  Also chopped down another Santa Rita # 2!!!

###  The one I just trimmed was cut down at 66 days, but the other one I let go for 72 days.  I will go ahead and repeat the process and let the untrimmed bud hang for at least 7 days while keeping the humidity around 55-60%.  This will be my last run of the #2 indoors since I need to make room for the Steem Og!!

# Now I got one Santa Rita #3 to finish!!

###  This one is at 69 days of flower.  It's a little bit more yellow then last run, but boy is she stanky!!!  The #3 is officially the best strain in my library!!  Before that it was the Tahoo, but the Santa Rita #3 is just so exotic.  Which btw, the Tahoo is Santa Rita's mother, and Santa Rita #3 is the mom of Steem Og!!  I will cut this one down as soon as my fresh harvest is dried.

ofcourse!! lol that my biggest one came in at 2.7 grams,  Not to shabby!  Just to think the one i chopped has bigger buds, i might actually break my record for biggest nug, Which is 2.8 grams!!

Very nice bro. I don't think I'm going to do that well with the pink kush plants! The nugs are looking pretty popcorny, and fluffy. Not dense or heavy at all. But then again it's only half way, there's still another 6 weeks or so. They might continue to fill in. I'm growing 'morganically' this time, as you know, so the yield isn't my primary motivation. As long as I succeed going from seed to oil, I'm going to be extremely happy. Anything over a few grams per plant is a bonus in my eyes. I will improve my technique and strategies going forward, of course. I do aim to crank out a decent amount of medicine in the future.

I feel the same way. Pictures never compare to the real thing. I like learning about it all and seeing the methods people use. I haven't had my own garden yet but I know a few things about processing. Are you going to make any extracts or edibles?

The Santa Rita #3 seems to be using the nutrients from the fan leaves rather nicely.  I am excited to see the process of #Steem OG when you make room for her.
