<hr>

Fossils are tendrils
that dwindles like moments,
In the twenty fifth hour,
unto grass, gold shall go,
as if the earth bellows
and the grandfather of trepidation
is let lose like a tornadoe.
ours is to grow
flourish, thrive and to fade
like a smile cut down by a blade.

Unto Ashes.......
tomorrow shall go,
for life's landlord
is a tax collector 
that demands retribution
in the strangest of minutes.



Soothsayers are gibbering,
perhaps the future is benign? 
or coaxed in viper's venom? 
like stories of hope,
told to a dying man?
our tongue is twisted
unable to form palatable sentences.



The ground we thread!
bears us no witness,
For Unto Ashes.....
is a certain destination
where oaks are turned cinders
and once again
we begin again and again
reborn tender and sweet
like an anther 



The heart is a barn,
that houses sugary thoughts
but squirts negativity
two tales on the table
of how meritorious we were
yet, immorality
is a story that tingles the ears
and keeps the soul flooded
with midnight fears




Unto Ashes......
a journey begins
with piercing cries
that gladdens 
and a solemn whimper,
that brings many wails 
of which we're cast at sea
like sailors to never see land again
ahoy! We have come
and like merchant we have traded
and now Unto Ashes we return
