# 2 Corinthians 7:1 NIV

AS TRUE CHRISTIANS WHO ARE DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST, WE MUST LIVE LIKE THE WAY JESUS CHRIST LIVED HERE ON EARTH. WE MUST LIVE A HOLY LIFE, WE MUST AVOID SIN AND ANYTHING THAT CONTAMINATES OUR BODY AND SPIRIT. 

THOSE THAT CONTAMINATE OUR BODY ARE THE SINS THAT WILL DESTROY OUR PHYSICAL BODY SUCH AS SEXUAL SINS AND SINS THAT WILL DESTROY OUR SPIRIT SUCH AS IDOLATRY. IDOLATRY IS GIVING HIGHER IMPORTANCE TO ANYTHING OR ANYONE RATHER THAN OUR GOD. THESE ARE THE SINS WE MUST AVOID IN ORDER NOT TO CONTAMINATE OUR SPIRIT AND OUR BODY.
