# Once the technology is there, this will be way too easy

There is no reason that a payments company should collect 4% on every transaction, that is literally insane in today's world.

This entire industry is ripe for disruption.

As soon as the technology (and laws) are there, this will be way too easy to disrupt:

This was taken at a local breakfast joint.

Once bitcoin (or some other crypto) is ready, it's game over for credit cards.

It will be like taking candy from a baby!

They should have been dropping their fees heavily in anticipation of what is to come... but they didn't.

I disagree. People love leveraging out and kicking the can down the road. With crypto you basically have to have the money. That is a foreign concept for most.
