# The institutions are on the way...

We have been hearing this from many different places from several different angles for much of the last 6 months.

From record institutional involvement through Grayscale, to record volumes in the CME bitcoin futures products.

Now, we are getting even more confirmation institutions are finally arriving...

In a report put out put out by Bitwise where they surveyed hundreds of financial advisors, it was found that 13% of them are planning to allocate client funds to bitcoin and crypto.

That may not sound like a big number, it's more than double last year's number of 6%.

The number one reason for doing this?

Client demand is not going away...

According to the report:

> "Investor interest in crypto is not going away: 76% of all financial advisors report receiving questions from clients on crypto in 2019."

But it gets even better than that...

Financial advisors are also thinking that their clients are gong outside of their services to gain exposure to crypto...

> "72% of advisors think clients may be investing in crypto on their own, outside of their advisory relationship."

If you won't put me in bitcoin and crypto, I will find a way to do it myself!

Which is really ironic and the exact opposite of what the SEC should be trying to encourage.

Since the SEC won't approve a regulated product, investors are having to go to unregulated exchanges to gain exposure.

The demand is clearly there Mr. SEC, why don't you actually try and protect investors instead of the current bitcoin blocking you are engaged in?
